Austin Dog Rescue Quila Sweet Quila is looking for the perfect family that wants to focus all their attention on her! This girl is as sweet as can be but enjoys having her own space to call home. She loves hanging out with dogs of all sizes and ages, so doggie day care and dog parks would be just fine for her, but when she's home, she likes everything to be hers. She is looking for that special love connection that can be active and go for walks, but also enjoys nice, quiet evenings at home on the couch watching TV. Quila is fully house trained and crate trained, and honestly, the perfect house guest.

Hound Rescue Olivia Olivia is a one year old beagle mix. She is a little shy but opens up after getting some attention. Olivia loves belly rubs and head scratches. Her favorite place to sleep is at your feet and under the covers. In true beagle fashion, Olivia loves to watch out the window and keep track of the neighborhood. What beagle doesn’t love a Nylabone to chew on. Olivia is good walker but does get distracted by the smells on a stroll. She is house and dog door trained.

Texas Husky Rescue Sheldon Sheldon was born into Texas Husky Rescue three years ago, adopted out as a puppy, returned as he got older for not looking "husky" enough, and is now the longest stay in our program.  He is a husky cross who knows lots of commands, is house-trained, crate-trained, kid and dog-friendly, and promises that if you're willing to give him a chance, he'll be the best friend you've ever had.

Texas Sweeties Dog Rescue Murphy Please give a warm welcome to this snuggle bug named Murphy! He ended up in the shelter after his owner passed away. Murphy is about 2 years old, 18 pounds and is a Pekingese Poodle mix. He is albino, so he will need protection from the sun when he is outside for longer than potty breaks. Murphy will need regular grooming to keep his fur from becoming matted, over time the staining on his coat will go away. This little guy does well with dogs, cats and children, but would do best in a home with another small dog to help show him the ropes. He hates to go outside by himself to go to the bathroom so if he has a buddy to go he will have zero accidents in the house.
